Here’s another addition to my original Coffee Shop Millionaire review. Be sure to check out the main review here, if you haven’t already…

In my previous Coffee Shop Millionaire update, I exposed the “Cash Machines” training modules for what they were — incomplete, random, reused bits of marketing ideas that would be unlikely to get a new or struggling Internet marketer off the ground.
Today, I’ll be reviewing the next training series inside the members area, titled “Million Dollar Launch Secrets.”
Product Creation
To kick things off, this module begins with a video that discusses 4 nifty product creation ideas.
Unlike the videos presented inside the Cash Machines tutorials, I was pleasantly surprised that Anthony Trister was the one doing the presenting.
The content instantly felt more valuable, as this is who I (we) signed up to learn from in the first place.
The man, the myth, the legend – Mr. Coffee Shop Millionaire, himself.
The product creation techniques he shared in this opening video are solid, although I’m beginning to see a trend in that this material is a bit more general and advanced that I anticipated…
… meaning, it’s more suited to intermediate-level online marketers who already have a solid foundation and who can take high level ideas and go out and make ‘em happen.
Army Of Affiliates
The second video shows Anthony teaching what appears to be a small mastermind how to manage their affiliates throughout a big product launch.
This video was a letdown, as I was hoping for some stealth tips on how to attract high quality affiliates to promote your product.
What I got was a few generic tips on how to communicate with pre-existing affiliates.
The problem here is that nobody who’s in the market to purchase Coffee Shop Millionaire is gonna have an army of super affiliates standing by. If that were the case, they wouldn’t be in search of a marketing how-to course.
Art Of Launches
In this video, Anthony Trister talks shop with the same group of guys.
The main topic covered was his use of testimonials throughout one of his launches, whereby he leveraged some big name gurus to get behind his product.
A message that resonated with me was that you have to do whatever it takes to ‘rise above the noise’ and stand out in an industry that has a tendency to become blind due to so many huge product launches.
Getting Affiliates Excited
The one was a shorter video where Anthony describes a specific strategy that boosts the total number of times a given affiliate will mail their list to promote your launch.
Once again, good content, but mostly irrelevant for the average student taking this CSM course.
New Partnerships
Here we go. This video should have come second, as it was the missing ingredient that I’ve been complaining about in the past few paragraphs ;-)
Trister discusses how to approach already successful info product owners and partner with them and/or form a new affiliate relationship.
It’s still sorta high level overview-ish, but solid stuff nonetheless.
Keys To A Mega Launch
In this video Anthony explains the importance of establishing a hot hook, or unique selling proposition (USP).
I liked the fact that he gave examples from some of his previous product launches in the Forex market.
In addition to positioning, he goes on to talk about some out-of-the-box ways to round up more powerful testimonials from joint venture partners.
Launch Contests
The scenery has changed and now Trister lounges on a couch and speaks to the same (apparent) small mastermind group about running launch contests.
Nothing groundbreaking here.
The chatter essentially tells you more best practices on how to communicate with those affiliates who’re participating in your launch contest.
Launch Processes
Another scene change. Now, Anthony’s on a balcony overlooking a lake, with a beautiful sunset in the background. He appears to be at some sorta marketing event…
… and he’s having a conversation with someone about his processes that led to million dollar launches in the past.
As with all of the videos in this series, there’s no real step-by-step action plan, but rather a collection of soundbites where you get to hear Anthony Trister causally break down what’s worked for him in terms of successful product launches throughout the years.
Meet Big Players
Obviously, I’m writing these reviews as I go through each video live, one by one.
Meet Big Players does the best job yet of re-framing your thought process to realize that it IS possible to get big named gurus on board, despite the fact that it may seem next to impossible upon first thought.
This video, along with the New Partnerships video, makes up for the initial beef I had with the first couple of videos (if that makes sense).
Rolling Launches
This is the first video not taught by Anthony Trister. Instead, it’s presented by Eric Louviere, who was one of the main dudes in the mastermind session in previous videos.
This one’s extremely short and to the point.
The title says it all – it’s about how to continually launch and re-launch your product at rolling intervals.
The Launch Schedule
Anthony’s back with a very detailed sample launch schedule to follow. It was nice to get into the mind of such a successful product creator.
I’m starting to see how he sincerely tries to turn his launches into a science that can bring predictable results, rather than an art form that’s more up in the air.
The $21k System
This video was a little more detail-oriented. Anthony reveals one of the easiest ways to go out and quickly create a solid product, with no list, no connections and no real expert knowledge of your own.
I’d heard of this system several times before.
Then again, almost all Internet marketing advice is available free on the web somewhere. You’re paying for the packaging and the time savings of not having to go around and sift through all the nonsense yourself.
Trister tells how he used this exact system for one of his first ever product launches and it netted him around $21k, hence the name of this video.
Underground Affiliates
Here’s a video that opened my eyes to a unique strategy on how to recruit would-be valuable affiliates that could legitimately help your online business.
I’ll give you a hint: it’s got something to do with going offline for bigger profits online.
Don’t want to say much more than that, otherwise I’m cheating team Coffee Shop Millionaire out of potential sales.
Upsell Path
This was the most advanced training video yet. I’m not sure who the guy presenting was, but along with Anthony Trister and Eric Louviere, he was seen in all prior vids.
Topics discussed include one time offers, one click upsells, downsells, the psychology of the upsell path and more.
Pretty elaborate stuff, but way too advanced for what I’d visualize as being the average skill level of the students inside of Coffee Shop Millionaire.
Webinar Replays
Here, the same unknown guy from the Upsell Path video writes out a general strategy for implementing webinar replays and rebroadcasts into your product launch.
Unless you’ve been living in a cave, I’m sure you know that webinar replays are trending right now in the IM space.
Okay, that was a lot of reviewing. Hope you found it helpful.
Summary
This training module was of much higher value than what I found inside the Cash Machines module.
The bulk of the videos were presented by Anthony Trister, which should be the case, in my opinion. So that was nice to see.
All in all, the insider access to these mastermind sessions was more inspiring than anything.
Did I take away a long list of action steps that will walk me stepwise towards a six or seven figure launch? No, not even close.
Sure I was motivated and I learned some cool concepts, but at the end of the day, I’m still sitting here going: “What now?”
I suppose that’s been my biggest gripe about the entire Coffee Shop Millionaire system thus far — there just isn’t any true formula to follow.
It seems more like a random compilation of theory and best practices, which simply isn’t enough for newbies or struggling intermediate-level Internet marketers.
More reviews that DON’T suck coming soon,
