Hey guys, I’ve already received a few emails regarding my Internet marketing coach announcement I made yesterday.
I figured I might as well compile a list of frequently asked questions I anticipate receiving more of, and put ‘em all in one easy to access page.
In less than 24 hours I already filled two of the five available spots, so that was very cool to see that the need for this service was definitely there. I can’t wait to get started and plan on sharing some powerful case study results from the first round of students. This is a game changer right here, that’s for sure.
Alright, on with the questions. Here goes…
Internet Marketing Mentor FAQs:
Question: What if I’ve never made a dime online before — can you still help me to work towards a 6-figure Internet business?
Absolutely. I don’t expect you to be killing it already. That’s what this mentoring program is for: to truly take you from ground zero and lead you step-by-step to a remarkable lifestyle business on the ole world wide web.
Question: Do I need to have a preexisting website to get started with my Internet marketing business?
No. It doesn’t matter if you have many websites, no websites or anything in between. Chances are, we’ll be building a new site from scratch regardless, just to make sure everything is done right. Having said that, if you have a decent site that I think we can turn into something great, we’ll tweak that site and work with it.
Question: I don’t have any technical skills. Do you show us how to do all the behind the scenes stuff to make a website look great and function correctly?
Of course, no stone is left unturned. I’ll be walking you through the set up process where we will buy your domain, configure hosting, install a WordPress blog and set up high octane plugins, integrate an email management system, design high converting opt-in forms and squeeze pages, and so on. It’s like having your own full-time IT guy, so no more excuses about not knowing how to do anything technical ;-)
Question: How much can I expect to spend? What are my overhead costs in addition to the coaching?
Don’t worry, the internet marketing system we’ll be implementing is extremely cost-efficient. Expect to spend around $8 a year on a domain, around $6 a month for hosting and about $19 a month for email management. Most of you will have these essential tools already, but if you do not, I’ll be walking you through everything on day one.
These are the absolute “must-haves” to run a legitimate business online. Any other costs would be optional, although I do encourage you to invest a little of your profits back into link building (we can get started with doing the link building ourselves, for free though, so no worries)…
Update, as a new mentoring package, I’m offering to eat the costs of all your monthly expenses. Learn more by going back to the main coaching page using the link at the top of this page.
Question: I’m not good at writing or making videos… do I have to do these tasks to succeed with my Internet business?
No. Although it definitely helps to be a good writer and/or be able to crank out entertaining audios and videos, it is NOT an absolute must. But you will need content. So what we’ll do is, first off, design a business model that runs off the least amount of content as possible.
An example would be a small “sniper-like” site that only has a few pages in total that are laser-focused towards selling a specific product as an affiliate. These types of websites are great for anyone who’s extremely lazy or just not that good at writing. Next, I’ll show you how to use top notch article writers that can whip up very high quality, SEO friendly articles for less than $10 per article.
In this manner, you can create your entire business without sacrificing quality and without having to perform tasks you dislike or are not that good at. Conversely, if you excel at writing or making videos, we’ll design a biz model that compliments your strengths, such as an authority blog like this one (where you crank out killer content on the daily).
Update, my new coaching program will include professional high-converting “money page” content written by yours truly. Learn more by going back to the main coaching overview page.
Question: I suck at traffic generation. Can you help me drive lots of visitors to my website?
Does a one-legged duck swim in circles? Is the pope Catholic? Does a bear sh*t in the woods? (… okay, I’ll stop now, haha… ) Listen, SEO is my specialty. I hate buying traffic and quite frankly, any time I tried using Google Adwords or Facebook advertising, I got my butt handed to me.
Buying traffic sucks and it’s very risky, especially for the newbie who’s yet to get decent profits rolling in. I built my entire six figure affiliate marketing business around free traffic generation, using advanced search engine optimization and link building tactics to propel my pages to the top of Google.
Mastering this skill is where the money is at, and it just so happens that’s my main area of expertise… so you’re in good hands when it comes to driving free targeted traffic to your money pages.
Question: I have less than 200 subscribers on my email list. Do you show me how to master list building as well?
Of course. As your personal Internet marketing mentor, I’m teaching you how to build a LEGIT, long-lasting business online. It wouldn’t be a true business if you didn’t build a substantial list of fans who look forward to hearing from you, who tell their friends and family about your website and who become lifelong buyers of anything you choose to promote (whether that’s affiliate products, your own services or a combination of both).
I’ll help you set up high converting opt-in forms and squeeze pages that soak up email addresses like a thirsty sponge (or something) once we flip on that traffic switch. Then, I’ll show you how to compose highly effective autoresponder emails that run behind the scenes on complete autopilot. This is how you’ll earn money 24/7, whether you’re working or playing.
Question: How do I select a niche? It seems like you can only make money in the health and fitness or make money online niches — is that true?
On day one we’ll have a consultation over Skype where I walk you through the niche selection process. It really depends on lots of questions I’ll need you to answer, such as: your interests and hobbies, your areas of expertise, your preferences in terms of what type of business you’d like to create (content-rich or minimal content), your current website(s) and whether or not we can leverage ‘em, and so on.
Here’s the thing — technically, you can make money in pretty much any niche, so long as you’re using some common sense. I’ve made money in many different niches and although my biggest earning niches are in fact weight loss and Internet marketing… it just so happens that these are also my main areas of interest and expertise and I love blogging about them both.
So if you have a strong interest in a particular niche and you friggin’ love talking about it, we’ll do research to assess the income potential of that niche and roll with it as long as it’s profitable.
Bottom line is that you’re always gonna be better off following your passion as opposed to ‘attempting’ to just follow the money. I make huge profits in these niches because I’ve built highly helpful authority sites that host much better content than you’d find anywhere else.
If I was just throwing up general garbage (like 95% of marketers do), I probably wouldn’t make a dime online. Every niche has it’s own unique set of pros and cons and we’ll have to weigh everything out before making that decision.
For example, although there’s a crap ton of money to be made in the “big two” niches that everyone tries to get in, you better be ready to bring your A-game and build a remarkable site that stands apart from the millions of competitors out there.
We’ll discuss this in-depth during our first meeting and make sure we pick the niche that’s perfect for YOU.
Question: What makes your coaching program different? Why should I invest in you over the other gurus out there?
In short, I provide far more value for far less money. Now, to expand… lemme just say that I know this to be fact because I’ve personally invested much more than $1,000 per month on several different Internet marketing mentors in the past. Here’s how it went… I’d call in excited for our fist meeting, thinking this “guru” was gonna lay it all out for me step-by-step and show me exactly what to do every day to start crushing it online.
That’s NOT what I got.
Instead (and this happened with all 3 coaches I invested in), I got treated like a nobody.
Everyone I purchased coaching from rescheduled meetings on me at least once. Two of the three showed up to the first virtual meeting not knowing anything about me, despite the fact that I filled out a multiple-page application form. And none of ‘em did anything more than give ridiculously general information that I’d already heard hundreds of times.
You know, stuff like “provide good content” and “build relationships” and the money would just come. It was laughable.
There was no “system” whatsoever and none of ‘em knew anything about the technical questions I had about creating squeeze pages or making cool graphics.
Why?
Because they were what I call old school marketers. These dudes created their Internet marketing empires back in the day, in the late 90′s, when no one was online… and there was ZERO competition… and you could buy traffic through Google Adwords for literally a penny per click.
All they’ve done in the past ten years is launch one shitty product after the next and they didn’t have a clue about how to start from scratch in (late 2011) and build a new online business from the ground up.
I realized after failing epically three times with high priced coaching that none of these old school marketers knew squat about starting from nothing and making a profitable biz that overcomes the ever-increasing competition and drastic changes in technology that today’s aspiring Internet marketer is faced with.
Well, guess what?
I’m not that guy.
When you invest in me you’re getting not only someone who knows how to make it in today’s environment, but also a small town guy who actually appreciates your business and gives a damn.
And all of that will be more than apparent the first time we chat. A better question would be: “What’s NOT different about my coaching program?” ;-)
I think that about does it for the mentoring frequently asked questions. If I left anything out, give me a shout below. Otherwise, go here to see if any openings remain.

This is without a doubt the finest blog I have seen. I would love to learn how you built it.

Thanks Thomas, I actually just finished the update a couple days ago. Put a lot of hard work into getting everything just right. Maybe in a future blog post I can break it down for you guys…
I love the site, it has inspired me. You have put a a lot of work in to this blog and i find it very educational along with your video of Anthony’s product. Thank you!
No problem Daniel, glad you found inspiration ;-)
Hi Brad,
Can I apply this to network marketing? I had a mentor I paid $5k and he left to fend for myself.
Hey Margarito, although I don’t have experience with network marketing, I believe the answer is YES. As long as you’d benefit greatly from building targeted website(s) and ranking at the top of Google for certain terms your ideal prospects are out there searching for… then yes, my mentoring would absolutely help. I’ve built nearly 50 websites of my own and dozens for my coaching clients — and each time, the ideal end point may be different. For example, sometimes clients will generate leads by building an email list, sometimes we sell affiliate products/services, sometimes they sell their own products/services and we’ve even ranked sites then charged advertising/leasing fees for others to use the sites.
I hope this helps!
Brad
Hi Brad,
Thank you for the quick reply. I have sent my application to you. :)
Awesome Margarito, I’ll take a look and email you back today. Thanks for applying!
Thank you!
Brad
Fantastic site and it really looks like you are covering all the bases. Great work. I will look around your site some more to see what else I find, but I like the way that you have done the question and answer. Very though provoking.
