Internet Marketing

internet-home-business-bennie-carterObviously, I’m an internet home business coach – and a damn good one, too, I might add.

So my hope is that this shout-out carries some weight.

(‘Cause why would I want to push high value leads to someone else, right?)

RIGHT…

So here goes…

I want to tell you guys about my buddy and business partner, Bennie Carter.

Or, as I like to call him: “Young Gun.”

(That’s him at the top right, doing what Bennie does: livin’ lavishly.)

Kid is 21 years young and ever since the first day I met him – now over a year and a half ago – I knew he was destined for big things.

I mentored him for a while and now we’re rocking a joint project together.

… which is why I’m writing this post about him right now.

Simply put, I want to spread the love.

If you’re reading this, look Bennie up.  His passion and enthusiasm for online marketing are contagious.  And I want you to learn from this youngster.

Watch his hustle.

Pay attention to how he speaks from the heart and puts himself out there in his videos.

You can find him at his main Internet Home Business blog.

He just got back from a marketing seminar in Chicago — survived the flooding and all ;-)

But think about that for a second.

Bennie is barely old enough to drink (legally, anyway) and yet, he’s flying around the world, networking, learning and growing.

He’s stepping outside his comfort zone and developing into one helluva leader.

Now, like I said earlier, Bennie and I have teamed up recently.

We’re both involved in a big ticket affiliate opportunity, where it pays to build teams and help your team achieve results.

I don’t want to give too much away.

That’s why I’m telling you to visit his website, learn from him, siphon off some of that swagger, and yes, get more information on our joint project.

And hell, who knows?

If you’re a good fit, you might be able to join us inside this unstoppable movement.

Leave him a comment.

Or drop him an email.

Tell him Brad referred you.  He’ll appreciate that.

Anyways, that’s all I got.  You heard it here first: Bennie Carter — remember that name.

Make it happen.

In my quest to spread my marketing message far and wide online, I’m constantly digging up cool new resources that make the process easier.

This post will give a brief overview of some of ‘em I’ve found just recently.

First, there’s Behance.net…

This website is about showcasing and discovering creative work.

There’s some pretty kick-butt work on that domain, indeed.

Why not use it to show off your best stuff?

That’s what I did in this tutorial about creating sexy thumbnails for your YouTube videos.

I’m leading with value, of course.

And, in exchange for that value, I can leverage Behance’s high quality, high traffic site to give my blog a little love.

Next, you’ve got Beeplog.com…

Here, you can have a brand new hosted blog up and running in about 3-minutes, flat.

I found their infrastructure to be extremely user-friendly and, no like, I did have my LazyMLM blog live online in just a few minutes.  That’s pretty impressive stuff.

You could use this site as a jumping off point if you’re new to online marketing; or, like I’m doing, to showcase some of your best content and drive additional search traffic back to your primary website.

Either way, it’s fast, free, and effective.

See my first review post here.

Let’s see, what other resources have I been high on lately?

Oh yeah, there’s Neosites.com as well…

Although, truth be told, I found this website builder to be a little more “clunky” than beeplog and for that reason, I’m still not entirely sold on the idea of blogging there regularly.

Who knows…

I’ve got my mini-blog started there, but time will tell if I keep on keepin’ on with it.

On the up side, you do have a lot more options in terms of building out a better-looking, more professional, more robust website with Neosites.

Here’s my handy work (about ten minutes worth, lol): my LazyMLM blog

Just remember, for the long-term, I’d always suggest creating your own self-hosted blog that you own and have full rights to.

If you don’t, you’ll always be running a risky internet business, as your content could get taken down at any time, even if the reasoning behind it sucks.

Or, if all else fails, you’ve got your good ol’ fashioned WordPress.org, where you can grab a free blog and customize it however you want.  I’ve used this a lot in the past and one thing about rocking a WordPress blog is, they’re here for good.

WordPress is pretty much the best content management platform of our time, in my opinion.

And I don’t see that changing in my lifetime or yours ;-)

Here’s my WordPress.org profile if you want to connect or if you have any questions about using WordPress…

So…

Whaddya waiting for?

Get out there and get to promoting, like a boss.

I just gave you some killer free resources, so use ‘em.  Then, find hundreds more and use those as well.  Be everywhere.

Then make yourself a sandwich and smoke a cigar.

Or something.

Click play to watch part I of why I joined Empower Network.  Like an idiot, I somehow managed to delete part II, but I’ve covered everything below…

Ask me anytime before this post my take on network marketing or multi-level marketing (MLM) and you would’ve gotten a long-winded rant about how scuzzy and ridiculous I thought it was.

“No way in hell I’d ever join one.”

“You couldn’t pay me enough to hit up friends and family and guilt ‘em into joining my downline.”

“Calling prospects on the phone?  Hosting uncomfortable home parties?  Umm, I’d rather watch paint dry.”

(Those are probably some of the rebuttals I would’ve used).

Today, however, as I type these words, I have to swallow my pride, push my ego to the side and admit that I was just uneducated before.

Sure, I still believe most of the opportunities are lame as hell.

But one specific company – the Empower Network, founded by David Wood and David Sharpe – finally caught my attention.

After months of completely ignoring it, I was talking to a coaching client who had signed up and had some success, despite minimal effort.

So I decided to take a look.

At first glance, I was impressed – floored, really – at the elite level of marketing the Dave’s had put into this bad boy.

It was easy to see why their Empower Network was spreading like wildfire.

But I was still skeptical.

Remember, when I said I was anti-network marketing, I meant it.

If you’re a dumb comedy fan like me, that title should ring a bell.

“Hansel.  So hot right now.  Hansel.” – Zoolander

Remember, there’s more to life than being really, really, really ridiculously good-looking.

(Like making money).

And the hottest money-making modality out there right now is YouTube.  I don’t care who you are, whether you’re an affiliate, network marketer or small business owner…

… if you’re not leveraging YouTube this very minute, you’re crazy.

Do a quick Google search for any popular search phrase and you’ll see what I mean.  Google has always shown a lot of love for YouTube videos in their results, but lately, that love has turned into obsession.

I don’t know how long this obsession is going to last, but I do know that I’ve been riding this video wave (like a pony) for the past couple months.

My results?

Dude, this is currently the easiest way I know of to get in front of buyers and drive those buyers back to your squeeze pages and affiliate links.

Ranking YouTube videos is laughable right now.

I’ve been able to get on the first page of Google for moderate competition keywords in as little as a few hours.

Brad likes dem apples ;-)

Figured I’d quit being selfish and school you on the simple process so you can cash in as well.

But first, some social proof.

#1 In Google For “OMG Machines Review”:

youtube proof

Being listed #1 in Google for a buyer keyword – in this case, a review of the new OMG Machines course – is obviously gonna result in dolla dolla bills.

The video thumbnail that gets displayed alongside your listing makes the ranking even more powerful, however, as it significantly improves click-through rates.
